Mahmoud Kahraba- Excelling In Saudi Arabia

Mahmoud Kahraba’s reputation has been rising each week since he made his move to Saudi Arabia Side Al-Ittihad. He has formed an unbelievable partnership with Ahmed Akaichi and Fahad Al-Muwallad which is arguably one of the best trios in Asia currently. The 22 year olds form hasn’t just been for his club, his form for his country as well has been nothing short of superb.

Kahraba is only 22, but has had somewhat of a storied career already. He made his debut in September of 2011 in a cup game for ENPPI against Al-Ahly at just 16 years old and it was a couple years later before he would get his move to Europe. He was loaned to Swiss Super League side Luzurn but unfortunately his European dream would be cut short because of Disciplinary reasons. However, it would not be the last and he was loaned yet again to a Swiss club, this time it was Grasshopper but with only 11 appearances made and 2 goals he was sent back before he would move to the Giants of Egyptian footballer.

This season has been the best of his career. The Egyptian International has bagged himself 15 goals and 3 assists in just 20 appearances from left wing. Kahraba has been arguably Ittihad’s most important player and this statement was shown to be true when he scored the winner against Al-Nassr in the Kings Cup final. His Legendary Status grows with every game he plays for the Saudi Giants and the fans will be begging for him to be signed on a permanent basis, if a European club doesn’t try to snap him up of course. Kahraba was also a key part of Egypt’s run to the AFCON final, bagging himself a very important goal and assist in the Quarter and Semi Finals.

Kahraba has made a statement in Saudi Arabia and is a firm contender for player of the year. The winger has fantastic technical ability and is fantastic at cutting inside and scoring goals. With a record like his it would only be fair that European clubs are watching him and still only 22, Kahraba has a huge career ahead of him.
